In the old town of Sozopol there is an art gallery, ethnographic museum, museum at the fortress wall, preserved medieval Christian complex in the center of the city.

The architectural complex "Southern Fortress Wall and Tower" unites historical monuments of different eras. Several necropolises have been opened in the city and outside the city in the Marine Park, in the districts of Kalfat, Harmanite and Budjak.
The ancient city was surrounded by a massive stone wall, from which are preserved blocks that reach three to four meters high and one of the towers built around 511 under Emperor Anastasios.
